HOUSTON - The Philadelphia Eagles have done a good job of protecting Nick Foles despite having to piece together an offensive line hit hard by injuries. This week, the makeshift group has perhaps its biggest challenge to date: stopping J.J. Watt.Watt has scored two defensive touchdowns, leads the league with 24 quarterback hits, has seven sacks and has swatted down seven passes this season for the Houston Texans. He does things that defensive linemen dont do, Eagles coach Chip Kelly said. His contacts with the ball, its the most weve seen and weve faced. And then the ability to just disrupt things if he doesnt get to the quarterback by batting balls down is really a unique set of skills that he has ... Youve got to know where he is on every play. The Eagles were without two starters on the line last week and have employed five different starting configurations in six games. All-Pro guard Evan Mathis remains out, but centre Jason Kelce returned to practice this week after missing the last four games following sports hernia surgery and could play Sunday.I think theyve done a good job of filling in those spots, Watt said. Theyve had injuries along the way and theyve done a good job of putting guys in places and they know what theyre doing and they fit in well. The Eagles have allowed only two sacks in the last six games; Watt has piled up five in his last three.Houstons pass rush could get a boost with the return of top overall pick Jadeveon Clowney. The outside linebacker had one tackle in limited action last week after missing six games following arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.Coach Bill OBrien expects Clowney to play more on Sunday, but thinks it will be a while before hes on the field for most every play with Watt. OBrien said Clowney still has to improve his conditioning to be able to play 80 snaps a game.Even though Clowney isnt back to full strength, the Eagles are concerned about dealing with him and Watt at the same time. Now you add what can be two game wreckers to the front, Philadelphia offensive co-ordinator Pat Shurmur said. Those are two dynamic players. They can rush the passer, theyre hard to block when youre running the football, and if you throw the ball in and around them, theyve got a lot of reach and range, where they just dont tip it down, sometimes they pick it off. Some things to know about the Eagles-Texans game:OLD FRIENDS: The Eagles have seven players who were once Texans, led by linebackers DeMeco Ryans and Connor Barwin. Ryans played his first six seasons in Houston and is the teams all-time leading tackler with 636 stops. The Texans also drafted Barwin and he played in Houston from 2009-12, leading the team with 11 1/2 sacks in 2011.Four wonderful years for me, Barwin said. Obviously its a big game for both teams, though. Im excited to see a lot of those people, but once we start playing it will be back to business.MACLINS BACK: Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin has starred for the Eagles in his return from a second ACL surgery that cost him all of last season. He leads the team with 39 catches for 632 yards and six touchdowns and is coming off a career-high 187 yards receiving.Coming back from injury is hard enough, and playing a skill position like he plays is even harder, Shurmur said. Hes done a tremendous job. Hes really battled through it.FOSTER RETURNS TO FORM: Houston running back Arian Foster is off to a great start in his return from back surgery that caused him to miss the last eight games of 2013. He is second in the NFL with 766 yards rushing despite missing one game with a hamstring injury. He is one game shy of setting the NFL record for most 100-yard games by an undrafted player with 32.RETURN TOUCHDOWNS: The Eagles need one return touchdown to tie the franchise record of eight set in 1952. Theyve scored on a kickoff return, a punt return, two blocked punts, two fumble returns and an interception return.MR. 300: Foles has four 300-yard passing games and needs one more to tie Sonny Jurgensen (1961) and Donovan McNabb (2004) for the most 300-yard passing games in franchise history during one season. He set a team record with 36 completions and had his third career 400-yard passing game last week.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFLNike Air Jordan For Sale Uk . It has been a difficult season for Red Bull, which had won the past four drivers and constructors championships thanks to the previous dominance of its car and the consistency of four-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel. The roles have been reversed, with Mercedes rolling over everyone for most of the campaign and Vettel struggling. Red Bull has won the past two races, however, with Daniel Ricciardo following his success at the Hungarian Grand Prix with another win at Sundays Belgian GP. In those races, Mercedes finished third and second, conceding some ground in the constructors championship. Down in sixth place overall, Vettel is showing signs that he can be more competitive. The German driver has qualified in the top three positions three times in the past four races; compared to three times in the first eight. Although Mercedes still has a huge constructors lead with 411 points to Red Bulls 254, Ricciardo is optimistic he can add to this three GP wins so far. "I see good things ahead," the Australian driver said. "If we can collect maximum points (in Spa) it gives us a bit more hope for the races that are coming up later in the season, Singapore, Suzuka (Japan). Well see how it goes in Monza (Italian GP)." Picking up maximum points on Belgiums vast Spa track was unexpected — due to the superior straight-line speed of Mercedes — even if Ricciardos win was somewhat helped by the clash between Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. Ricciardo is 35 points behind Hamilton, but with double points on offer in the season-ending race in Abu Dhabi in Noveember, he remains hopeful of catching the 2008 champion.dddddddddddd "If were within 50 points heading into Abu Dhabi, (then) while its still mathematically possible, well keep fighting," Ricciardo said. "Stealing some points on a circuit (Spa) where we werent supposed to is nice." Team principal Christian Horner expected Spa to be a "damage limitation" race. Instead, he saw signs that Red Bulls speed is improving. "We have managed to find a balance and Daniel has managed to find a confidence in the car," Horner said. "Ultimately we benefited from the Mercedes little get together but in like-for-like pace we were not far off them." With Monza only two weeks away, Mercedes must act fast to stop the Hamilton-Rosberg feud from escalating. Hamilton was leading when he sustained a puncture to his left rear tire on the second lap, caused by Rosberg when he tried to overtake and hit his car. It was a risky move by Rosberg, and Hamilton later claimed that the German driver had acknowledged in a team meeting that he had done it "on purpose" to "prove a point." At the Hungarian GP last month, Hamilton refused team orders to let Rosberg go past, fueling the growing tensions between the childhood friends. Mercedes has allowed them to race freely against each other providing there was no contact, but Sundays incident has prompted a rethink. "We are at that point and it needs to be managed going forward," Mercedes executive director Toto Wolff said. "We will decide what to do when everybody is in a cooler, calmer frame of mind." Although the incident was not investigated by the stewards, allowing Rosberg to open a 29-point lead on Hamilton overall, governing body FIA still has the option of reviewing the matter. ' ' '
